1. Download and install VirtualDub from the VirtualDub home page, or one of these links: RS1 / RS2 / ZS1 / ZS2 / MU1 / MU2 / BD1 / BD2
2. Run VirtualDub and open the video from File -> Open video file...
3. Go to Video and check Direct stream copy or you can check Full processing mode, and than go to Video-> Compression and select a codec
4. Go to File -> Export -> Animated GIF...
5. Choose the output Filename
6. Choose how many times you want your GIF to play (Play once/Infinite loop/Loop count)
7. OK
